Well, as mentioned above, the twins are soon to be 5 year-olds in about 4 months give or take a week or two, and will be entering pre-K in the Fall. They have late birthday, so missed the cut off for Kindergarten by two months. Thank goodness for that....not sure I am ready to send them off to "big school" just yet. As far as Clint and I and our location, we are living in a house in Buford, GA and are both at Dacula High School in Dacula, GA where I teach and Clint teaches and coaches football. (Yes, we have moved several times since my last posting)
While I do enjoy working at the same place as Clint, and have met some really nice people, I do miss my friends and old job from last year....It was a great one. However, I am very, very thankful to be gainfully employed especially since times are tough for so many. It is nice to know I get to continue doing what I enjoy. Clint is very happy with his team and is looking forward to starting a new season.....in our house, it's football time again as the kids say. We had a great first year at Dacula last year with the team advancing to the 3rd round of the playoffs last year. It was a really neat experience; one that hopefully we'll repeat.
Summer has been good to us so far...I have enjoyed getting to catch up with some old friends, and hopefully will do a better job at staying in touch. It's hard when you move and then everyone has kids etc.....life just passes you by. The kids have really enjoyed the pool, and I have to say it's something I enjoy as well. We are getting ready for a last minute trip this weekend to Pigeon Forge with mom and dad, and then it's home for a week before we head out to the beach for the first two weeks in July. We are fortunate to be able to see family and friends during our time off and spend some quality time together.
I became an Aunt again this year.....my sister had a little girl, Lucy, who I am just crazy about. She is the cutest and I can't wait until I get to go and visit her again!
